Omg! I was just discussing that with my friends and family. I don't understand why....
Isn't that....economic suicide? I do not understand and I am honestly angry for you >.<

Yes, it very much is. It's a decision made by the older generations, the younger people voted overwhelmingly to stay in, but there are more old people to vote. It's such a horrible decision. Already there are lots of people trying to get us to vote again or else find loopholes to stop it from happening (like the Scottish government are now saying they might be able to block it).

Ugh...looks liek extremely messy politics to me...
Unfortunately I don't know enough to truly understand everything that's going on right now, but they must need to do a re-vote if it is this close and causing such an uproar right?
We had something this close in Canada as well back then Quebec wanted to leave the country and become independent. Thankfully the movement didn't go through but it was nearly a 50/50 split!

Same thing with Scotland here, they voted only just to stay part of the UK. Now there will almost certainly be a revote, and this time they will almost certainly vote to leave so that they can stay in the EU.
You would have thought so. But then politicians aren't always known for acting in the best interests of people in general so who knows what's going to happen now.

I've been seeing a lot of reports, thankfully nothing in person. It honestly doesn't surprise me though. Some of the places where it's been happening are from where I used to live when I was growing up. Tension was very high there already because there's a huge percentage of the Eastern European migrant settled in that one area and it also happens to be where the dumbest English people live. People who aren't smart enough to leave. People like me, who are more tolerant and more smart, can't stand living there with the bigots and the farmers, so we leave. This kind of thing is the excuse people like that were waiting for.

Ridiculous....
Racial crimes really are an issue of the ignorant. Not to say that prejudice isn't present in those who are better educated, but there does seem to be a direct correlation with discrimination and stupidity x.x
Or perhaps it's just that those who are better educated are better at discriminating in a way that doesn't get caught >.<

I think you're right with it just being stupidity. I mean, it's not rational at all to think that way. Just because someone was born in a different country or with different colour skin, they must be evil? What? It doesn't even make sense. And it also means that we must be evil to them as well, which makes even less sense because then surely we're all as bad as each other anyway and then we're even again.
