I mostly play games during my lunch break and then at night with my sleeplessness. If I find the right balance then it lulls me right to sleep. All of the advice anyone ever says is not to use devices before bed but it's the only thing I've found that reliably makes me nod off lol.
It's the same for me! Since we play mostly games that can only be played by one person, starkad usually plays and I wantch and I always end up falling asleep, no matter how interesting I think the game is. Otherwise I usually I have really great problems falling asleep. But put on some game and I start dozing off pretty much instantly! It's actually rather frustrating, because I don't want to. :mcheh:

You would probably like Love Nikki, Firn! It's a dress up game as Poshi says. Originally Korean so there's lots of cute Asian clothing and it could be inspiring for knuffel/item ideas.
I just looked it up and it's a mobil game, so I can't play it. I have a very cheap phone that doesn't have enough space for aps. I only have Instagram on it and it's full. :mcheh:
Poshi wrote:You haven't heard of Runescape??? It was really popular back in 2002/2005? Mid-early 2000s. I played in 2008/2009 and Fire Emblem is a Nintendo product. Some of these characters appear in the Nintendo games Super Smash.
I have heard the name, but other than that, no. But around 2002 was the time I graduated and I still lived at home - I didn't even have Internet there and I did not own any gaming device. :mcheh: So that's probably why i missed it. I didn't gow up with games, because until I was 16 and could work next to school and earn some money, we did not even have a computer at home, no mobile phone and no gaming device like a Playstation or Gameboy or anything like this. I think I was 19 or even 20 by the time I had finally saved up enough money for a computer. I had my first mobile phone at 24. Really didn't grow up with much technologiy at all. :qoops:

Ooh I've never heard the ad. Always browse on mute haha XD The music in the game is a real earworm though.

My phone's full too, even though it's only two years old. They make apps so big these days. I have to literally uninstall and reinstall certain things when I want to use them. It's so annoying. I'm supposed to upgrade my phone again in March and I really hope I can get a bigger memory. My contract does free upgrades every two years so hopefully I can get it without spending more money. either that or I'm considering getting an extra memory card but I don't really want to spend that money either.

You can even see my partner's reflection in the glaze. Tasted great. I want to see if I can buy the peach one tomorrow.

:mcomg: :mcomg: I want that cake.

I started watching a random Australian reality cooking show on Netflix. Never heard of this chef before, Zumbo or something, but his stuff is amazing. That apple glaze reminds me of his kind of stuff. The things I watch when it's late and I'm too tired to focus on something I actually want to watch XD

I don't watch any cooking show, but I follow some cooking and a lot of baking acconts on Instagram. I am always jelous of all the amazing cakes and cookies some people make. I really enjoy baking and would love to do it more (well, I bake for the dogs every few days, but that's not the same, because you can't really do much decoration-wise), but I don't really have anyone to eat the stuff. A whole cake is too much for just two people, especially since my husband started this no-carbs at evening stuff. I bake small cakes sometimes, but I need more people for bigger baking projects. I was really happy when it was starkad's birthday last month and I could bake cupcakes for his workplace! :qlov:

It also comes in a peach and pear but they weren't available when we got there. It tasted like apple pie and the cream was so light and smooth.

Adriano Zumbo? Their cakes are gorgeous but sickly sweet.

Haze you're coming to Sydney? Awesome, and yes definitely give Koi a visit. He was some dude on Masterchef. I just like to eat his cakes.

You should invite people over and host a high tea! Give yourself to bake to your heart's content. Do you own a stand mixer? I so desperately want one.

Well, as sad as it sounds - I don't have any people to invite. :mcheh:
(sounds a bit wrong - I do have friends, but they all moved to different cities when we graduated from university, so it's all long-distance freindships and we only see each other each couple of months)
The only person living near me is my mother and she hates everything that's sweet. :mcsleepy:

A stand mixer? I have one, but I only use it for the dog food, not for baking. I think it's more for grinding stuff than mixing it, unless we are talking about different things. ( Do you mean something like this or this? Because we call the latter "mixer" in Germany, even though technically that's not what it is. We call the other one "stirring machine". I don't have one like this, but mix everything by hand.)

I really wanted to do a dinner party for Halloween. J said there was no point and I was really sad about it. The day before I think he realised how much I wanted to do it and he was sorry he didn't ask around if people would come, but it was too late. Next year I'm doing it even if only one person turns up, I swear.
