Hmm, it seems this is no longer the case. Which is a shame because I'd much rather that clicking on avatars whose friend request is pending go to their user page than relation edit page. I can do that when I go into my Friends page.

Also, I think it would be nice if a scroll bar could be added to the Personal Information section for those with long mood/occupation/interest/location/etc., like the ones on the Friends and Knuffel sections.

And I should have checked to see if this was announced before making a Feedback thread. XP Sometime when the update is minimal you don't announce it and I usually check to see if you made an announcement anyway but today I forgot. I ish sowwy.

ALSO! Starkad, you didn't do a very thorough job. Firn needs FAR more blahs in her profile! More blahs! A MOUNTAIN of BLAHS!/derp

Yes, that would make me happy.

One more thing, could we get rid of the items we don't fill in, like name or occupation? I currently have a "-" instead my name. I would prefer if I just didn't have this item. Or if I delete my interests or mood, it would be neater if there did not appear a "-", but disappeared the point.
These are not necessary changes, but they could be an improvement. Though I guess I have the same problem here like those who don't use galleries or photo section.
I find it nice with knuffel: if we don't have wild or ordinary knuffel, we just don't get the section on our profile. Would be good if it worked for the other sections too: empty section - not on the profile page.

Another thing I was curious about, with the links to email and IM things. Would there be any way to edit what they say? As if some wanted it how it is, but I want tumblr/art site other than da/pinterest...etc instead of some of the ones that are being unused on mine?


Unfortunately these are images and not text fields you can fill out yourself. But I can maybe see whether we can delete some of them and replace them with more used ones. I think some of these messengers are hardly used by anyone anymore (though these were the default ones by phpBB, so deleting them is more difficult as we did not place them in the code in the first place) while many people use things like Tumblr or Facebook these days.
But again, I cannot promise anything. Will have to talk with starkad about that.

Same problem as above, many of these are custom phpBB fields.

And about deleting whole sections from the profile, like for example the art gallery: Because the profiles have a fixed layout that would mean that you would have a big empty unfilled space there instead, so removing them would not do any good.

edit: I asked starkad whether it would be at least possible to remove for example the friend section for people who have set their profile to not showing their friends, as I thought it was just one line and removing it completely would not be a problem but sadly he said that not even that was possible without destroying the rest of the layout.
I am sorry about that. I do not understand much of web coding, so I have to trust his word that it is not possible.

Intensely dislike it. The new profiles take forever to load, and make it harder to click through to the display of knuffel now that the link is a picture instead of a proper link. If I'm going to a profile, I just want to go through to the quick feed/play without having to wait forever for the links to show up. :mcgloom:

If the image loaded just once, which might take a while, it should be there the next time you visit any profile within an eyeblink, as the image should be stored to your cache and load from there instantly. At least this is how it works for me and you are the first one to complain about loading times, so maybe you should adjust your browser settings as it seems to be an issue with your browser and your cache and not with our profiles.

The only information that would take longer to load would be the user's photo, and any Knuffel that you did not see on a previous profile, but this isn't any new addition but has always been like this.

Just a question, and I don't think I passed by someone asking it..
but if I managed to miss them, excuse me for repeating.
But - Would maybe a signature section be added? :mcgasp:
There are some people that I can only find their threads by
going to their signature's links and they're not active forum
posters, so it makes it near impossible to find their signature..

but, having read what you said Starkad said about the coding..
I would think it's a matter of adding, rather than removing -
but even if impossible. We could put the links in our About?
