I've done color to color before too, though usually it's to drastically change things... I wonder if I can dig some up (If I find them I'll only link so I don't take up space. :qlol: )

That long? Wow. Shows how often I check front pages of any thread or hangout.
Which reminds me. I worked a little bit on it and started actually writing it from the beginning so here's a gift to you.

Alice woke up on the cold, hard ground. She raised her head and looked around but could barely see anything because she was surrounded by dense fog that obscured her vision. The ground was cold and she could feel hard packed dirt under her hands. She had had enough of lying on her back and stood up. Once she was standing, Luna brushed off the back of her dress which had gathered dirt from lying on the patch of moist soil surrounded by grass on two sides. She turned slightly and faced the direction where the dirt wasn’t bordered by grass and tried to focus her eyes. She could only see faint figures in the fog so she decided to follow the path created by the bare soil.
Taking steps towards the figures made them clearer. One small mass stood out from the larger masses behind it. As she got closer she realized the smaller mass was a sign of some sort and the larger ones were trees tangled in vines. The sign read “Wonderland Wood” and had a club in the top right hand corner which had been ruthlessly crossed out, and underneath this mangled club sat a heart. Alice had never heard of such a place before. “How the hell did I get here?” she whispered to herself in confusion.
Then it hit her; she was following a large white rabbit. She remembered sneaking off from her aunt’s baby shower to find something more interesting and spotted him wearing a fancy vest and hopping to the deserted part of the park. She hoped to catch him because a rabbit wearing a vest must have had a rich owner, and rich owners give the best rewards for their returned pets. She followed him to the deserted area of the park. Then she remembered spying on him from behind a tree, and he reached into the pocket of his vest and pulled out a playing card. The card was an Ace, to be more specific, the Ace of Hearts. He muttered something that sounded like the word “home.” As if the talking rabbit wasn’t shocking enough, the card glowed and a yellow and green ripple formed in the air in front of him. It expanded a little and hopped in, and intrigued by what just happened, she remembered running in after him just as it was closing. She tumbled downwards for a period of 2 minutes and that was the end of her memory.

i don't like most tragedies now that i think about it
cause...you know...they're so tragic
and you KNOW they're all gonna die and you don't want to keep reading
but you have to, cause you love the characters
and curiosity is killing you because you have to know anyway

--hopefully i'll me a much better girl about critics in traditional too
i'm going to get plenty of that in college and i don't feel like going to jail
for manslaughter
Cause my friends that are in college tell me how much of a bitch
professors are about critics. they say the professors aren't very nice at all
and will quickly tell you that your work is worthless in a heatbeat o.o
