I can't say it's good, it has flaws, huge flaws, but I still found it entertaining.
Then it all depends what you're looking for in an anime and what you like in general.

I personally really like SAO.
Yes, there are some flaws, but every anime has them.
If you like action, adventure, general cuteness, good art/animation and a really romantic couple, you should at least like the first half of it. ;o
Cant guarantee the second half considering I haven't seen it yet, still. ^^
