The movie you mentioned doesn't sound like it would offend me at all, and I am a trans guy. (I haven't seen it, but I love Robin Williams)
It doesn't make sense to cause drama over something like that, because it wasn't trying to be transphobic. We should be addressing things that are
actually offensive, instead of creating drama where there isn't any.
But for the most part, I suppose a lot of people these days seem like they are over sensitive. While their heart is in the right place, it does make important issues (like lgbt rights) harder to be taken seriously, and can make things more difficult for us.

But I would prefer that than everyone be aggressively offensive.
The creepypasta comment looks like someone jumped to conclusions and was looking for an argument, clearly they need to relax lol
I agree it's good to laugh about things, it can help people deal with them. But I think you can still be offensive even if you ween't trying to be, I've done it on accident before. If so I just apologise, my bad.
But if someone tries to make out like I was intentionally trying to be, especially when it isn't even offensive, yeah, that's annoying.
