We can snap at each other fairly often, but carry on with life lol. When we do have arguments they can last a while because I very much want to confront the issue and sort it out while J's impulse is to walk away and calm down. So I get mad about him walking away and he gets mad about me pushing the issue and then we are more mad about that then what we were mad about in the first place. Quite often I end up finding an excuse to go where he is so I can snap at him some more to give him an excuse to start a conversation so we can get over it ^^;

Goose and I are similar to jacob and J. I'm all about confronting the issue and sorting it out quick and I pester him about it, but he likes to think about it and stay mad for longer. I want to resolve it so he'll love me back faster ;-; hurry hurry.

I'd be really mad if Goose pulled an impassive fish on me. He hates it when I sulk though.

Fascinating, we are the same :D
He needs time to cool down, I need to discuss things to resolve the argument.
We have gotten way better at dealing with it since we figured that out though.
I now know that he isn't just sulking to make a point when he goes away, so I'm more patient (whereas before that would make me even more mad). And he knows that he can't just hole up in his room for hours and expect everything to be fine when he comes out, but rather he can go for a bit but has to come back and face me to resolve the issue.

I guess it's a common thing! Maybe to do with societal views?We're more willing to talk about our emotions, whereas guys are taught to keep it quiet until it goes away?

Sounds logical now that I thin about it, 'cause for us it's the same XD

The worst thing with Ash is, even if we resolve the issue, his bad mood stays for longer. So no matter what happens, he's kind of distant for a while. I learend to let him cool off, give him some alone time. It still hurts though, I'm able to forgive very quickly and I can't quite grasp how he isn't ^^;
As you all said, I just want him to love me again xD

Gosh, I'm so clingy :mcblush:
