I was thrown off walking in because they had rearranged and were in the process of moving genres around. Like I make a beeline to fantasy/sci-fi, but they are separating those sections into different ones so fantasy will be stand-alone and sci-fi stand-alone as well. So the sci-fi section was done, but the fantasy section was a complete mess from moving books around to make room to put the sci-fi section in order. I could have walked out with a lot more books if it wasn't such a mess and I could find some of the series I was looking for. lol. Maybe that's a good thing because I didn't go in with a budget since it's been so long.

So which books did you end up walking out of there with?
Any gems?
Or, I guess maybe it's too recent for you to have had a chance to read them all, yet?

The question is if I can remember what ones I got since I put them all up on my bookcase, that may or may not be mostly filled with books to read. I know for a fact I got The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski since I've been wanting to get into that franchise and I was trying to find a copy that didn't have "now a netflix adaption" on it because those covers suuuuuck, but I couldn't find one online nor in store. Probably end up reading that one sooner than later. I'll edit this if I can remember what other ones, but they were mostly sequels to books I already own and not read (because I have a problem of buying whole series before I even read the first one). Also got some manga volumes as well.

Finished book four from Age of Fire series by E.E. Knight. Not as good as the previous 3, but each book has had it's ups and downs. This one really only had one part that drew me in and made me read 1/3 of it in one day. I've decided to read the next two back to back since they are less than 650 pages in total and ready to finish the series.
Also stared at my bookshelf trying to remember what books I got, but lmao, I actually could not remember which ones I got.

I'm still working on Pamela. It's slow going, partly because the print is small and partly because I don't like it.

And finished book 5 in the Age of Fire series. Finished it a lot sooner than I had planned. Now onto the final book in the series.

FINALLY finished "it" by King.
Going to go for a thin book now. It's called "Love, Aubrey".
