Often people would not read the announcements properly and then complain afterwards which is making me sad, because I am giving you all the information I can.
If anyone had problems converting time zones he could have asked, but no one did so.

I think you did a good job and thought it was clear, don't feel bad! You can't please everyone, it's just impossible. If the time was changed to US time, then there would be problems for the European and Asian users. If it were changed to international date line time, it would be a problem for a LOT of people, because I get confused there. :qsweat:

I've been signing in at around 9:00 PM each night, Eastern Time. I got the first item on the 30th, and have getting each item a day early.

During our Halloween Event we got some complains that we didn't announce the Halloween Event beforehand so that people who log in only every few weeks missed out on too many pumpkins to get the Halloween costume.

Therefore I am announcing this now:

The first part of our Winter Event starts December 1st! It will be different than the Pumpkin Harvest, but still you should make sure to log in on that day and read further instructions if you do not want to miss any of the Winter event items.

This didn't say the timezones, and it's the only announcement I saw, until December 1st, my time. And she said it explained the timezones, but it didn't.. So yeah...

But THIS announcement was posted on Nov. 27th, and it explains the time-zone. Although if you were only going by the first announcement and didn't log in until your first, I could see where the confusion stems from.

I'm so happy! This event is definitely wonderful, my favourite EVER! (though I actually only had the Halloween one here XD)

But seriously looking at all the event items I think these ones are the best.

Really, thank you very much! :qh:

The announcement that did explain timezones was created 3 full days before the event and is this thread!

I am sorry you based Dec 1 on your time, this site is based in Germany and the first starts there earlier than it does here in the USA. This note quoted above did not explain time zones, but it did say "you should make sure to log in on that day and read further instructions if you do not want to miss any of the Winter event items"
Did you factor in that the site is based in another Country ?

I'm sorry there is nothing else that can be done the event item was released a full 24 hours based on UTC +1.
You have to take responsibility for your own playing here you just missed it.
You may want to check the sellers forum at this point and look for a cape there.
Good Luck to you & Happy Holidays.
