I just finished the work on the new version of the
Knuffel Games Page!
I had to do an almost-from-scratch rebuild, but now it's easier to add new games, and the scores of the different games are counted together.
Your saved games are still there and usable. The old game URLs will redirect to the new page.
To have a fair relation between the scores you can get with the games, I changed the tic tac toe game so that now it counts 5 points for each match won.
We were planning from the start to have some kind of reward for the games. We are thinking about a kind of lottery system, where you get a ticket for each 1000 score points or something (maybe should be less, maybe more), and every ticket takes part in a weekly drawing for a free Knuffel. But that's just one of the ideas we're thinking about. Feel free to comment on that if you think you have a better idea.
Someone had posted the suggestion to make the points something like money to buy stuff for the Knuffel. This might well be added later, but before that, we'd have to program an inventory system for the Knuffel. I do already have an idea how to do it, but I won't be able to write it in the next few weeks, because, university has started again.
