I don't know that many family members on either side.
Most of my family is dead or I never see them or never met them.
My mom tells me about family members all the time and says "You remember them, right?"
No, I don't :\
She will show me a picture of when I was 5 and say "You remember them right? They babysat you a million years ago 8D"

I remember my 4th grade teacher told us he did a DNA test thingy and found out he was related to Daniel Boone 8u
Daniel Boone was an American pioneer and frontiersman whose exploits made him one of the first folk heroes of the United States. Boone became famous for his exploration and settlement of what is now Kentucky, which was then beyond the western borders of the Thirteen Colonies.

Well, in my case, and given that my family all comes from the same region, our surnames give quite a clue about where we descend from.
So it's rather easy figuring out to which noble family we are related.
Not that it means anything nowadays xD

A co-worker my aunt has lost her brother in a car accident recently and there's people with my last name that are going to be his pallbearers.
My aunt asked if I knew any of the names on the list xD
My dad told me there's no many of us left so they're most likely not related to us.
There's like several people with my dad's name here anyways.

I think he named a handful of people with our last name related to us and it was none of those names.
I could be wrong because I don't know that many family members u8
