Here I come with a quite complex suggestion. What about Lord of the Rings cosplaying?
Instead of items -as you've been asked before- you could make sets of items featuring some -types of- characters from the book that would also fit many other styles.
They would not need to be exactly as the films -you can use them for inspiration or not- so I'll explain my suggestion in general terms.
The knightClothing: Brown tunic. Brown cape and clasp. Dark brown leather belt.
Item: Sword.
Accesory: Bow and arrows on his back. Leaf brooch.
Background: Mountains.
The ladyClothing: White/light-color romantic dress (
example). White cloak.
Item: Evenstar pendant. Long silver earrings. Silver chains crown (see example before).
Accesory: Silver ring. Mirror.
Background: White palace.
The gentlemanClothing: White shirt. Dark green vest. Green cape and decorated clasp.
Item: Arrows on his back. Tiara (
example)
Accesory: Bow.
Background: Forest.
The peasantClothing: White shirt. Jacket. Cape.
Item: A ring =D
Accesory: Bag for food.
Background: Village.
The magicianClothing: White or grey tunic. White or grey cape.
Item: Crook. Book of magic.
Accesory: Pointy hat. Bag.
Background: Library.
The barbarianClothing: Dark shirt and cape. Leather belt. Crossed belt (
example)
Item: Axe.
Accesory: Headpiece (see example before).
Background: Cave.
Considered as I've done before, each of those characters would make a nice set for a monthly treasure -that you would probably complete/fix (for example, adding a feathered hat to the one I titled "gentleman" you would have a nice Robin hood).
I did not include some things I consider quite unnecesary -for example I think you're gonna add elf ears to the gen lab, no reason to ask for them here- buy you may make a different design here...
Well, that was a whole 6 sets suggestion, so you would have monthly treasures for half a year =D
As I've said before I think it's a quite complex idea, but it would be a pretty nice way to have a lot of different items.
