There's a dentist at the same place my counselor is (I think a family dr too... ) they just got a new one so I get to see them
It's nice that they're letting me meet them first, to see if we'll work well before. First time I heard of a dentist doing this o3o


I hadn't seen a dentist in... 3-5ish years...

The plague or tarter build up (which ever it's called when it hardens) on the bottom back of my teeth in the front broke off a while back, so now there's this.. gap with a jagged bottom to it... So last time I saw my counselor, I made an appointment for a dentist...

Back at the end of 2016, the previous dentist place changed dentists and this guy creeped me out. On top of that the hygienists nag the crap out of you, not caring that it makes you feel like shit because you "didn't do better"... and then the hygienists also push electric toothbrushes onto people even after you tell them about your carpal tunnel and how vibrating things makes your hands go numb >:x

Well that last visit there, they said I needed a deep cleaning. They did the xrays and measurements and all that, sent it in... While we waited for the insurance to say they'd pay for it, the new year happened (2017) and mom ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. Febuary rolls around, I forcefully bring mom home from the nursing home the hospital put her in for rehabilitation, and I take care of mom... that's when that dentist office calls for the first time.

I tell them "My mom has pneumonia, she's too sick so I can't get the procedure done." they hang up... call back a week later... it takes MONTHS to recover from pneumonia!! D:< eventually it got to the point where they were calling nearly every day by the time June rolled around.. I felt harassed... Mom was doing better by that point, but the harassment... >A<

The next year mom was having tooth issues herself. She didn't like how that one place harassed me, so she had the insurance help her find a new dentist. They found her a quack.. I decided to make an appointment as well. My teeth needed cleaned and if possible, get that deep cleaning that I needed.

Mom had to go to a hospital for oral surgery because one of the roots were wrapped around her jaw bone.. the bruise that left had people calling Adult Protective Services on us.. The bruise covered her whole lower right jaw and all the way down her throat to her chest.

Well anyway, that place.. told me I need to brush 7 times a day, to not use my floss sticks, to floss with proper floss... the hygienist didn't clean my teeth right, felt like what it feels now with the jagged plague pits still there on the back of the front bottom teeth =3=
The dentist actually told me to STEAL tooth paste.. because of mom always needing cigarettes there was barely any money for other smaller necessities... =3= like wtf...

So I stopped seeing them.. and never got a new dentist until now.


People hate dentists for the drilling... I hate them for their nagging and crap. >:x

In the past, i’ve never had naggy dentists. 8u most they tell you is to brush your teeth, floss/mouthwash, whatever. XD;; which is all standard procedure, they’d tell that to anyone.

Brush 7 times a day?? That’s cray man. At most, maybe brush after each meal but 7??
I remember reading once that koreans take a long toothbrush/toothpaste everywhere they go so that they can immediately brush their teeth after a meal. XD;; i had no idea it was an actual thing, although i know a former korean coworker of mine from a former job, i saw her brushing her teeth after lunch. XD;;

Yea.. i was always taught to brush and floss after each meal.. 7 times a day is too excessive..


I use to brush, once in the morning before school, then again before bed. Then... I dunno what happened.. =/

Oh i do that too? The moment i wake up, i always brush my teeth, and before i go to bed. The only change i make is during the weekend, when i finally wake up on the weekends, i eat first then brush my teeth.

My anxiety is kicking in... >A< I meet the dentist person today... wish I coulda got a 8AM appointment.. those are easier on me because I'm not fully awake yet and it's easier to push myself outside then. >A<


o-o i'm listening to those reddit karen stories to kill time.. and this story has a public family pool. and this lady is trying to swim laps but "kids keep getting in her way" and she complains about it. But its a family public pool so there isn't anything to be done about it. She was cussing and throwing a fit and the life guard told her if she continued to swear, he would have to ask her to leave.

She quiets down.. goes back into the pool and swims. A 6 year old ends up in the lap lane wearing floaties... she grabs ahold of this kid, tears his floaties off and holds him under the water... =/ All because he came into her lane

I was stuck in the retail store most of the morning…8u all the retail ppl were in a meeting upstairs. Luckily there were only two customers. Unfortunately, i had to ask on the company chat each time that there was a customer lol. My retail computer account, i’m not sure if i have the authority to cash people out. XD;;
That and i’ve never worked a register before.

What happened to the kid? I hope they were all right. D:

So the end of that story, life guard panicked, got her off the kid. But because of his panic, he forgot how to do CPR so had someone else come do it while he called the cops on the lady. o3o

She went to the pool to get away from her own kids and didn't want these other kids in 'her' lane.

I made it to my dentist appointment.
They had a new Hygenist there and was teaching her how to do stuff. I was the teaching subject. She was nice, as was one of the others who helped her out from time to time.

I told her how I was treated at the last 2 dentists I been to and how now going to the dentist causes me anxiety.

I mean.. harassed by one place, and bullied and made fun of at the other... The story of the one, she knew exactly who I was talking about. oxo, oh boy..

Anyway, no one nagged me. The dentist actually said my teeth were pretty good for not being cleaned for 5 years. I just needed to get the floss into the gums more. I do have a small cavity forming tho. o3o just that one.

Because of how nice and friendly they were, I decided to set up a cleaning appointment with time to get that cavity filled. ovo I found me a new dentist, and this one just started at this place so she should be there for a good while!

AND! It's in the same building as my counselor, so if I have a panic or anxiety attack, they can go get my counselor. x'D
