Weil du zu kompliziert denkst! Die Satzstruktur ist wirklich fast genau so wie im Englischen, du musst nichts umstellen.
(Just say it when you don't understand what I am writing in German)

I noticed that actually for most things... like
Danke, gut Thanks, good
and then questions are just a simple revolving of the placement
Sprechen sie Deutsch? Speak you German?

Ja, fragen sind etwas anders im Deustchen, aber ansonsten ist die Grund-Satzstellung meistens 1:1:
Ich gehe zu dem Bahnhof. (eigentlich eher "zum Bahnhof" aber "zum" ist letztenedlich nur ein zusammengezogenes "zu dem" I go to the station.
Genau die selbe Satzstellung. Nur wenn du noch irgendwelche Adjektive oder ähnliches einfügst wird es etwas schwieriger:
Ich ging gestern zum Bahnhof. Yesterday I went to the station.
Aber Subjekt, Verb und Objekt stehen immer noch an der selben Stelle.

Okies *adds to brain dictionary!"
So, pretty much, an adjective can screw the situation around, but otherwise it's Subject then verb?
