My dad wants to jump from cliffs and bridges and all that stuff.
He's not afraid of anything.  28%  [ 13 ]
My aunt said he might have some sort of brain trauma from the past.  22%  [ 10 ]
My mom said he's a crazyass.  50%  [ 23 ]

I had recurring dreams of drowning and falling from cliffs.
No matter how far away I was, I'd fall off the cliff.
I'd hang on, but couldn't, and I'd wake up.
So I don't like heights.

There was a platform that wasn't very high, and kids would jump off of it.
I was too scared to, so I never did it.
But they looked like they had fun.

We actually visited my mom at a hospital, and she was on the...4th floor, I think.
There was a large window, and my sister wanted to look out.
I was about 12ft away from the window, but suddenly felt like I was falling.
So I couldn't go over to it with my sister.

I sometimes wonder what it's like to jump from buildings or bridges.
I have no interest in dying, but I always wondered what it's like.

So I wanted to ask if you'd jump from a building, knowing you wouldn't die or suffer serious injury?

Even knowing that, I'd still have kind of a hard time trying it xD

Well, I've done the whole, "jump from a cliff into a swimming hole" thing. Just to say I did it.

Not really my thing. I'm not a fan of speed, and I'm not a fan of sudden pressure change (I have ear issues), so the combination is not really designed to work for me, lol.
So assuming a jump-from-a-building would be similar to that....
No.
No, I would not, even if I was guaranteed a no-injuries/no-death experience.

On the other hand, I love heights, and I love going climbing. I just want to do it at a nice slow pace so I can enjoy the view. So everything right up to the actual jump? That part would be lovely.

I wonder what it's like to jump and I'm also not suicidal.

The thought of the wind blowing through my hair is nice so parachuting would be the closest thing to it I guess. Except I am terrified of heights and I would probably faint from not being able to breathe.

I've heard people die from a heart attack before they hit the ground.
But I've also heard that doesn't happen, and some people don't die on impact.
Their body is broken, and they feel all the pain xD;

I am terrified of heights. Well, not so much the height itself so much as the semi-unreasonable fear of falling and the sudden hard stop at the end.

Being at the top of the Tower Casino in Las Vegas gave me pretty bad vertigo. Then we went up even higher to go on the drop-ride at the very very top... I screamed so loud. Great view of the city, though. The next day we took a road trip to visit the Grand Canyon. If nothing else I can say that I'm not afraid to face the fear!

Oh man, I'm terrified of heights so I can't deal with that stuff at all.
Even going over small bridges freaks me out.

There's a kind of intense ramp on my drive home from work now and my stomach painfully tightens every time I take it. I really hope that it chills out soon because it really hurts.

I'm afraid of heights so I wouldn't dare unless its a matter of life and death that I have to jump to escape or survive
