Nope. I know fruit beer, but I don't know how that works. I doubt it's syrup though :o

i wouldn't be allowed to drink at home lol.
literally my family rejects marriage proposals if the potential spouse says they're a 'light/social drinker'.

Don't go drinking alone. Expecially if you are a beginner. If you don't know your limit you have to have at least another person with you that can hold his liqueur.
Drinking and getting drunk are fun but very dangeourous in the wrong situations. I even lost conscious once and even though I was surrounded by friends and except for embarrassing myself, nothing happened, I still regret it.
And to be honest, it depends on how the mood is. As much as it sucks to be the only one not getting tipsy at a party it's even worse when you are the only one drunk at one.

Marriage proposals? But casual/social drinker doesn't sound so bad.

yeah but literally nobody in my extended family drinks EVER and if anyone does they're a black sheep.
you should see them looking at pics on social media of people from families that don't drink, who've uploaded themselves having beer with friends. they bitch about them like hell lol.
but if your family does drink then it's okay if you drink, they don't judge. basically if it's your traditional practice you're entitled to do it if you don't overdo it.
kind of like if your family is vegetarian but you begin eating meat.

I hate it when people judge like that.
Like sure most of us judge without realising but generally I find when I do that I tell myself no, try not to judge.

I Judge people for being judgey. lol.
Though I am super judgmental over some things. Like people being bigoted and racist. Or being mean to waiters or people like that. I judge hard time.
Are you already getting proposals, Mynah? Or are you talking about other family members?
I've got a lot of alcoholics in my family.
