Its still popular back in my home town and the towns around it. I know the old street I lived on didn’t have too many kids as I got older so we got less and less trick or treaters but its still popular on the streets with more kids.

Last year, there were not a lot of trick-or-treaters, but in the past years, there were a lot!

We haven't had many trick or treaters the past couple years. I think it's partly because a lot people on my end of the street don't turn their lights on, so I think a lot of people just pass our end by. And I think it's partly because it's already pretty cold here, and it's not as much fun to trick or treat in a snowsuit! And it's so dark, and it's often rainy, and food allergies, and reports of people putting weird things in candy, etc. So I think a lot of people might end up going other places. I think some malls and things have the stores give out candy? I have plastic frogs and rubber piggies to give out this year, but it's supposed to rain, so I am not expecting many kids.

I am almost 30 and would trick or treat if people wouldn't judge me....because I want to do something for Halloween, but everyone works .-. So I get to be a sad panda at home.

We never got alot of trick or treaters here, but now we get one, not including my two nieces.

This year though, they're moving it to the 30th because of RAIN....we went in the SNOW before -.-

Trick or treating hasn't been a thing with my family for a couple of years just because of the town they lived in.
They had been in a less populated part of it so there wasn't much in the way of candy gathering.
Now they live in a packed neighborhood with a lot of kids, so I have hopes for better candy gathering but I also have no idea if my sisters even want to do anything this year.
Maybe we'll just get drunk at home instead.

I'm kind of glad that that habit hasn't blown over from the US yet. In the Netherlands we used to collect candy at St. Martin's (11.11), but our tiny town decided they'd collect money for a good cause instead.

Where I live now, I see more & more pumpkins, but that's it for now. Everyone uses those days (Especially the first of november, national "holiday") to remember their lost friends and family. The cemetaries are getting prettier every day right now, with candles and flowers. It's magical on the 31st.

I just got a bunch of tricker or treaters!

I know my parents get less and less trick or treaters every year, but I think it's more that the neighborhood got older? There aren't any young couples on their street anymore and less kids from other streets turn down it since it's a cul-de-sac. Also, it's rained like, the last five years. *eye roll* It's pouring right now.

I live in an apartment complex, so I don't deal with trick or treating.

Not a lot of trick-or-treaters this year either. In fact, we had less this year than last year.
