This is a design contest with a ton of entries. There is always going to be a lot of similarities between a lot of entries with contests like that, and this contest is no exception. But that doesn't mean that all those people are ripping off each other's designs.

And you're accusing, that's pretty close to an insult to me.

I'm sure if you looked hard enough you could find dozens of different versions of those two outfit designs. (Of ANY outfit design.)
I have a book on fashion that I've glanced through several times, in even the coats section there are three coats similar to eachother, but at the same time
they're seen as different.

M o i isn't the kind of person to rip people off like that and I'm sure Kiihay isn't either. Maybe you're seeing them as so similar because you want to see them as such.

Ok, sorry about that... It`s just sad, that she`ll leave with this wrong idea of people here.... -_-

How can she be sure, I mean, sometimes creators think the same and we can see`t in their art works! It`s inevitable, and it`s something good in my opinion.

I'm sorry that all this drama is coming up but I've felt extremely offended by the entire situation. I posted my entry THE DAY AFTER the contest started and hoped that would prevent people from having the gall to try to steal my idea. Not only is the outfit almost identical with small changes but even the fire at the feet and the hands were copied. The outfit even was an original design that I pulled off from many different styles and my own tastes; the cloak, boots, style of pants with a belt, exposed stomach, cuffed shirt, high collar, slanted eyes. Also MANY of the lines match up EXACTLY to the point that its FAR from being artists thinking the same way.

Many of the aspects of the designs that I specifically thought about to make mine unique are also expressed; The fire on the hands and feet, the more serious slanted eyes, flames reflected in the cloak in some way.

This has NEVER happened to me before and I'm literally shaking from how upset I am. This is much more than just pure coincidence and two artists thinking alike and the fact that this is being over looked purely because it's this specific member, who also happens to be a very popular mod, that no one is actually addressing this issue at all is extremely disconcerting.

The unprofessionalism displayed is unfortunate as all I see happening regarding this issue is being hushed and swept under the rug. Someone expressed true concern about this problem and was told they don't know what they're talking about when I myself have the same concern. This is extremely disappointing because it seems as though the only reason nothing is being done is because the accused is a rather popular mod that no one wants to think worse of. To have something this horrific done to my work is completely unforgivable and I can't believe that such a nice community has made me feel so violated as an artist. This display of unprofessionalism just puts me off entirely. I honestly can't see myself logging into this site any longer. I do not wish to be a part of a site that allows these things to happen with little to no action.

I'm a mod, and I entered the contest. Is my entry up there? No. OMG bias LOLOLOL. Plus, the names are redacted in the poll. The only way to know which entry belongs to whom is to know their style/go through the long list in the previous announcement. I'm SURE that a lot of people are going through that right now in order to kiss ass. /sarcasm

Same-handed people often find it easier to draw the hair sweeping the same way. I overlayed previous Knuffel in order to get the positioning of nose, eyes, and lips correctly. I don't find it that startling that the overlay of the facial features line up, especially on computer graphic entries. Plus, the coat tail looks a bit like you're grasping at straws. That leaves the bubble and the pants, which could have been coincidental.

A LOT of people used fire on hand/feet idea, not just M o i and you, Kiihay. And I would think I would put off entering as long as possible if I didn't want people stealing my ideas. I've seen M o i's works a lot and he enjoys using heavily lined slanted eyes on his character. If we were truly hushing up this episode, we would delete all comments saying that M o i copied off of you and pretend this discussion never happened, as opposed to trying to explain it/work it out. It is my opinion that the original poster was told that way because of the way they were expressing themselves. There is a way to voice your concern without being so argumentative. I thank you for being professional that way, unlike your previous two advocates.
