From The Book of Questions by Gregory Stock.

Question #39: Do your close friends tend to be older or younger than you?

younger, but not really by a huge margin... probably has to do with the fact most of my peers are off starting families and stuff and i'm not really about that life at all.

My husband is my only real friend right now. He's older than I am by 4 years. My facebook friends are mostly older too. My friends were mostly older in high school and college too.

I'm really bad guessing ages, so a lot of these folk, I'm not really sure. Mixed bag, probably. I mean, the ones 2 generations up or down are pretty clearly younger or older but everyone else, who knows....

Huzzah, not alone!
(Every once in a while I'll hear this or that tip, but it's mostly useless. It's all very well to talk about skin opacity, but when all of us are dark-skinned it's not terribly useful because you'd have to look really closely to see any difference and that's just not something I'm comfortable doing. For instance. Or things about gums and teeth -really? I'm not going to stare at someone's mouth until they open wide enough for me to measure!)

I think most are usually a little younger than me.

But I do have a few older friends as well.

There's not any particular reason. Just so happened I'm around more people that are younger than me.

Older.. I usually tend to be the youngest of my friend groups. They arent much older. We are all in our thirties.
